In-4, [8] pages, 445-11 p., figs, contemporary spotted tan calf, 5-ribbed spine, gilt title, ornamented boards (head cap torn off, 2 corners worn, rubbed; wetness on the very first pages, one with tear without missing, pl. p.161 with rough tear repaired; 1 page of the X book and 2 pages of the Y book with figures missing). Second edition of this amply illustrated classic treatise. Some old annotations in the margins referring from the text to the plates.
