FRENCH SCHOOL after Elisabeth Louise VIGEE-LE BRUN (1755 1842) Portrait of Philippe-Henri-Marie, Marquis de Ségur (1724 1801) Marshal of France, and Secretary of State for War (1780-1787) He is represented at half-body, slightly in three-quarter view, wearing a short powdered wig, his right hand resting on his command staff with a fleur-de-lis, his chest crossed with the great blue cordon of the Order of the Holy Spirit, accompanied by his silver plate, next to his cross of knighthood of Saint-Louis Oil on canvas, on the reverse side two small pieces of reinforcement; small restorations 105,5 x 78,5 cm Wooden frame and gilded stucco in the Louis XWV style with a motif of flowers (small accidents). Provenance: preserved in the descendants until today.
