Provenance: Sicily, Chamonix, Chablais H. from 80.5 to 116.5 cm As is A stick with a tuft of raw textile material at the upper end for spinning on a spindle or spinning wheel. In Haute-Savoie, cattails are associated with wedding rituals, and are given as an engagement gift by the bridegroom.
